TIM BARNES  |  5 Rhythms

Tim sees dance as a practice, embodiment as its vocabulary. As a certified 5Rhythms teacher, he teaches classes and workshops regularly in the UK as well as internationally.

By holding space lightly, he hands the reins of the dance over to you, guiding you through waves of music that approach the body as a  body of wisdom. Come let it in, let it out and let it go.

JULIA SAMEL   |  MOVING CONNECTIONS

Julia holds a safe and gentle space for us to explore connecting in many ways in partners and groups, using rhythms and various techniques she has learnt through her partner dance experience as well as the freedom and creativity that inspires her from other freestyle forms of movement.

Moving Connections is a chance to move and be moved, to relax into our bodies and to explore connections through simple exercises that support us to meet and connect without words, in a light and embodied way.

Everyone is welcome! There's no skills or experience needed, just an open mind, a little curiosity and the willingness to have a go.

BILL TRIBBLE  |  SHADOW RAVE

Bill is a DJ, musician, and remixer who found his way into conscious dance through 5Rhythms after years of playing clubs and raves. Now a regular at Ecstatic Dance UK and other London events, he has also played internationally at Ecstatic Dance Tokyo, Ecstatic Dance Ireland, Om & Bass Cyprus, and across the UK at Boomtown Festival, EMOSHPIT: The Rage Rave, and more.

For Shadow Rave, Bill aims to deliver a deep, powerful and playful journey through the dark and back to the light. Embracing the darker side - Heavy, gnarly, melancholic, euphoric, fun - A full spectrum of emotions, facilitated by a somatic warm up and a cross genre musical journey featuring electronica, techno, drum and bass, neo-classical, and Bill’s own remixes and productions.

KHAVITA & SOPHIA  |  MOVING SOMA

MovingSoma events are co-creative containers for movement, sound, and voice expression – they are an invitation to journey inward, to explore the landscapes of your embodied experience through deep listening, intuitive movement, and sounding.

Through guided meditation, somatic and movement practices, and live improvised soundscapes, we create space for your unique expression to emerge.

Sophia is a movement and meditation facilitator and somatic practitioner, weaving her experience and education across movement disciplines, meditative practice, somatic education and healing arts.

She is passionate about creating contemplative spaces that open the doors to our sensitivity and aliveness, to explore what is present in our bodyminds with curiosity and creativity, and soften the boundaries between our inner and outer world.

She founded MovingSoma, a project creating events and containers at the intersection of somatics, sound and healing arts which she co-creates with musician and vocalist Khavita.

No experience necessary, no predetermined steps, no right or wrong – just the honest dialogue between your body and sound. Come as you are.
