LUCY WYLDE
Growing up on the coast in Devon, Lucy Wylde has spent her life connected to the lands and seas which has led to her journey of becoming the Founder of Medicine Woman Gathering alongside her musical career that has been slowly progressing since she attended BIMM in 2017.
Lucy’s songs are inspired by her connection to the earth and share a deep wisdom straight from the heart. A new wave of musical identity that is soaring through the world that ignites enquiry to come back to ourselves, encapsulating the emotions that life brings. Her songs are the remembrance of what’s true underneath the layers we all carry, with innocence and freedom at the core.
Lucy’s life presented many challenges in childhood and as a highly sensitive person this has led to her journey of ‘belonging’, and thus to be an inspiration for others through her work, creating spaces that reflect this home-coming and sense of safety within ourselves and with all of life.
Lucy’s passion lies within the medicine of the voice and the breath, having studied both contemporary and therapeutic ways with the voice. In 2020, she started an online vocal journey called ‘The Voice Within’ which again, reflected coming into right relationship with the voice, building confidence and strength from the inside out, learning to deeply listen to the inner voice that carries wisdom and a voice that is incredibly powerful.
Lucy’s has graced the stage at a host of venues and festivals including Into The Wild, Buddhafield, Good Vibrations, Heart of The Rose and Medicine Woman, toured with the likes of Seren Rose and supported Tallulah Rendall and Olivia Fern.
